The annual Christmas Dinner with our Cambridge friends took place at the atmospheric Schmidt Z & KO in Schöneberg.

The new OUS committee met with members over informal drinks and expressed its thanks to the outgoing committee members for their great work.

On Monday, 13 October, several members and friends of the Oxford University Society in Berlin had the pleasure of attending an open rehearsal of the renowned Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, conducted by Vladimir Jurowski with the participation of the violinist Christian Tetzlaff.
The event offered a fascinating glimpse into the music performed and a feeling of joining behind the scenes one of Germany’s leading orchestras. Maestro Jurowski’s insightful talk and precise direction, combined with the orchestra’s artistry, created an inspiring and memorable experience. Many thanks to everyone who joined — it was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy exceptional music-making and to connect with fellow members in a truly uplifting setting.
